The 2020 Farmers Market Grand Finale, October 3, 2020

Annual Gathering

Since 2006, we have gathered annually at the Mimbres Valley Harvest Festival to celebrate community, encourage local agriculture, showcase locally grown food and handmade products, promote tourism to the Valley, and simply have a fun day for Valley residents and visitors alike.
Sadly, this year we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Harvest Festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, on October 3, we will hold a Grand Finale of the Mimbres Valley Farmers’ Market to celebrate the end of the growing season. The Finale will feature agricultural growers and their locally grown, nutritious produce.  Precautions to avoid the spread of coronavirus will include mandatory wearing of masks and social distancing.
We very much hope that next year we will be able to once again hold a full-scale Harvest Festival with music, dancing, games, local arts and crafts, and the many other activities included in previous years.  In spite of this year’s limited celebration, please come out and support local agriculture!
