Mimbres Valley Health Action League
The mission of the Mimbres Valley Health Action League (MVHAL) is to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life for the people of the mimbres region of Grant County, New Mexico. The Mimbres region is defined as the communities that lie along and around NM State Highways 61, 35 and 15.

Mimbres Valley Harvest Festival
In pursuit of our mission, we annually celebrate the Mimbres Valley Harvest Festival to bring our community together, encourage local agriculture through education and development of markets, showcase locally grown food and handmade products, and promote tourism to the Mimbres Valley, located in the southwest corner of New Mexico on the southern/western edge of the Gila National Forest.

The 1st annual Mimbres Valley Harvest Festival took place on October 14, 2006 at the San Lorenzo Elementary School. This event will continue to bring the Mimbres Valley community together with community-enriching activities that offer education and resources that are available in our local environment. We focus on local agriculture with the presence of local farmers, ranchers and health experts. Economic development is demonstrated through the selling of local products grown within Grant County. Children's activities focus on fitness. Local musicians provide music along with local storytellers telling of the Valley's heritage past and present.
